It’s sad because she herself is a "KID". I think its so dumb that teeangers just have SEX and dont think of what can happened (getting STD’s & getting Pregnant) maybe they should do some research & get informed as it is teenagers already have a bad rep.

I think that Jamie Lynn is doing the right thing by keeping the baby; abortion is killing a poor innocent chilled when they never had a chance in this world and as a teen girl giving up their first baby can cause many emotions. I’m not for teen pregnancy but it’s hard to stop it, I know 2 girls in my grade that are pregnant and I’m only in 9th grade. Jamie Lynn obviously loves her boy friend and when she had sex with him, she obviously knew the consequences. She has her sister who has had two kids and she has seen her sister go through a lot of crap over the year so she know having a kid wont be easy but she is willing to take the chance of messing up, because come on, don’t hide it everyone messes up and no one is perfect no matter how hard you try to be. She might just want someone to hold and love and to love her back because maybe everyone else in her family is to tied up with Britt and all the drama going on in her life, do you really blame her? Sure it’s a stupid decision considering you have your whole life ahead of you but she has probably considered what to do with the baby and she finds keeping it is the best decision and I support her for wanting to take on a motherly role at such a young age. She might not be the best role model for regular teenage girls who don’t get pregnant at a young age, but for the other teenage girls that do, she might help them get through it easily. Some times seeing some one famous going through something you didn’t mean to do or something you did not expect to happen makes you realize you are not the only one that made that mistake. It might be comforting to some teenage girls that are pregnant to see a celebrity going through the same thing around the same age. You never know what’s going to happen till you see it happen and I don’t feel Jamie will be a bad mother. Good luck to you Jamie.

How is she a slut? Have you ever met her? NO you haven’t. Just because she is having sex with her boyfriend doesn’t make her a slut. It’s not her mother’s fault, sister’s fault, her father or brother’s fault. If people are going to have sex they have to realize what can happen, and she did and she is having the bbay and NOT having an abortion so everyone needs to shut up.

Like Come on would she defend you if you were in her place im guessing not!! like i no people should respect her space and all but she was the one that went and did some thing stupid and now she has to deal w/ her mistake. but what ever if you want to defend her go ahead but i honestly dont think its gonna make a difference in her life……

Look People where i live there are young girl about the age of 12 years and up getting pregnant everyday. It’s nothing new. And who says she’s a bad example? Maybe she can get up there and show young girls that its way harder than it looks. And waiting is way better. And most of all that getting pregnant can happen to any young teen. I feel for her. I really do maybe she ain’t the best role model but i believe she’s still one she can show girls that way it is and that’s what they want to see. Ohh and for all them guys impregnating girls. It’s part your fault to, so grow some balls and step up. At least girls ain’t cowards!!!

I worry about the bad example set by this young star and her sister. I also worry about the fact that so many girls think that what she did is perfectly OK. No she’s not necessarily a slut, that doesn’t make what she did any less stupid.

Incidentally, I also worry about the state of our education system. If the spelling on this thread is any indication, the English teachers of these young girls need some serious reprimands as well.

It is bad example for her Zoey 101 viewers but if she wants this kid and can look after it I supose it is ok really.

this is shocking && dispointing but we can’t go back in time && changed what happened. Its good that she deciding to take care of the baby && yes it no one fault but her && her boyfriend [don't forget] — she is setting a bad example for children but hopefully parents are explaining to their kids not to do that &+ i think whats going through some of their heads is "man am glad that wasn’t me" [for the kids that are having sex] && for the ones who are their not gonna be like lets go out && have sex to be like jamie lynn spears. idk just i hope she doesn’t do anything stupid to hurt the baby.

I had a baby in highschool, and I made it, its not impossible especaillyif she has support, which Im sure she does, Lynn ’s not a bad parent these things happen, making a choice to wait til marrage is just that, its your choice, she choose the other choice, so what? Its her choice and thats nobodys buisness but her’s, just because she’s a role model doesnt mean she choose to be many young girls look up to her, that doesnt mean they are all going to go out and get pregnant! You make the whole population of girls look like morons!

Parsonally, I think that it’s fine that she’s having a baby and all. And, so what if she’s on Nick. Just think about it, years ago people used to have babies a lot younger, and somehow they managed. Plus numerous people nowadays are having babies at a young age. It’s their choice and that’s that. I say let them do what they want and live with the consequences. That’s all I have to say.

Also, look at it this way, all the actors on Nick have to grow up someday, is not like they are going to be a kid and be on kid shows all their lives. Other kids out there have to realize she is NOT who she plays on the show, she is someone completley different.
