Romney Bashing: It’s Fun!
Another newspaper joins the Romney-bash fest; this time it’s the San Diego Union Tribune. The newspaper explains that Romney stands for everything Americans dislike about politics and are fed up with: dishonesty, saying one thing while doing the other, changing positions if doing so can result in electoral successes, etc.
I’m not sure what’s happening suddenly, but it’s fascinating to see that newspapers don’t quite like the former Governor of Massachusetts. They’ve now fully developed their narratives for each and every single one of the candidates and they’re determined to repeat the same points time and again.
One wonders why it is that the two Democratic candidates – who both have severe weaknesses as well – haven’t received such an incredibly bad press compared to what some Republicans have had to put up with.

"One wonders why it is that the two Democratic candidates – who both have severe weaknesses as well – haven’t received such an incredibly bad press compared to what some Republicans have had to put up with."
Maybe a lot of this bad press is coming from right-wing voices. Y’know, the rep candidates are getting attacked by different factions inside the GOP, who are concerned that the candidate in question isn’t the real deal (NOW these guys care about honesty and credentials all of a sudden).
Anyway, if anyone could give me an overview of all the editorails all over the US that shows that Hill, Clint and John are getting slack -especially from the left-wing newspapers- then by all means.
Umm, that’s not the newspaper, it’s a columnist.
Clinton was hammered for two weeks on every cable show about her gaffe on illegals getting licenses in NY state. It got much more attention than anything Romney’s said or done. Her laugh is often referred to as a cackle, and she is always portrayed as being cold and calculating- overly ambitious. If you were to be fair, many of the candidates are overly ambitious and some at least, are cold and calculating.
