It won't be long until someone starts hinting that his time as a POW has messed with his sanity (as the Bush campaign did in 2000, via Karl Rove's minions). It'll be coming from all sides soon enough and it will all be despicable. This is the part of the campaign that things get really nasty -- it's all a warm-up for the REALLY nasty season which starts post-conventions. And McCain wants us to be at war for 100 years. Very interestingly both Republicans viscously attacked Obama but utterly ignored Clinton. At the beginning of the race it was the contrary, but it looks like Obama has become threat nº1 in their minds. A bit premature, IMO, but interesting nonetheless.
