Clinton Leads in Indiana Poll
But her lead falls within the margin of error: 49% against 46%. It could still go either way; lots depends on who’s better able to get their supporters out to vote. Interestingly, Hillary Clinton leads – easily – among older voters, while Barack Obama leads comfortably among younger voters. Hillary also has the upper hand among white voters, while Obama – as usual – destroys Clinton among African-American voters. The numbers in this last category are once again a clear indication that there’s identity politics going on; 81% of Indiana’s blacks say they support Obama. It’s not a popular subject to talk about, but 80% indicates that quite some people aren’t voting for someone because they agree with what he’s saying, but because of other (such as racial) considerations. If 80% of whites would vote for Clinton, we wouldn’t hear the end of it.

Enough is enough. Hillary has caused so much hassle for the nomination process., let alone the lies, like the sniper fire in Bosnia, Ireland and other exaggerations. She’s so divisive and angry in her approach. We cannot afford to have a candidate like Hillary. Bye Hill.
to Rev Shallom I am 53 years old, I live in Northern Ireland and have been politically involved for many years. You are wrong about Hillary’s role here. The US media has not bothered to print or report much on the fact that those who actually WERE involved in the process here have stated her role as important. Instead, the US media, who appears to be in support of Obama, have only quoted David Trimble, who is a disgraced "has been " anti Catholic Unionist who lost his position here by NOT implementing the Good Friday Agreement after signing it….. However, everyone else, e.g. Gerry Adams Sinn Fein, John Hume SDLP, Ian Paisley DUP and Bertie Ahern, as well as George Mitchell , have all stated her role actually was important. I suggest Americans like yourself actually research things rather than to listen and quote biased pro Obama US media. Hillary was responsible for a great many programs here, the greatest being Vital Voices which has now gone international. Even to this day Hillary continues to support us here, that is why when our leaders go to Washington they meet with Hillary and Bush and Kennedy, NOT Obama!! IRELAND FOR HILLARY 2008
"If 80% of whites would vote for Clinton, we wouldn’t hear the end of it."
You know what Mike…maybe after we have 43 Black presidents in a row you will have the right to bitch about reverse racism. You Pat Buchanan and Geraldine Ferraro can now finally come out the closet. Now that Barack has made it okay to talk about race. while we’re being honest with eachother about race, what if YOU were black…would you be voting for Barck Obama?
And to my long lost Irish brother up-thread…O’Bama is from Moneygral,Ireland. I hear that they like that O’Bama fella very much.
Hillary was a great first lady. But if Hillary has foreign policy experience then Yoko was a Beatle.
i’m a little tired of the rep.,the press and some very stupid people dogging hillary,if it’s not her one thing or another,it’s her two thing or another,i think she will make a very good president.i’m also sick of the he black she white,he minority ,she minority and he or she was not! alive when slavery was around and i really don’t think since people don’t live like that it should be our main concern,i think we need to be concern about jobs our homes our country and the lousey people that are in office and have been killing everything they touch and i know that i’m not the only person black or white that feels this way,now what we need to do is get over our selves and get on with the 2008.
