Bill Richardson for VP?

June 15th, 2008 By: Michael van der Galien | Tags:

I actually think this could be quite a good idea. Richardson has a lot of experience and knowledge. Also important for Obama is that Richardson may be able to get Hispanics to vote for the Democratic presidential candidate come November.

Having said that, would that not alienate an important base of the Democratic Party, namely (feminist) women?

Not only does Bill Richardson have the experience and the hispanic vote, but New Mexico is a battleground state.  Yet I have never heard his name mentioned as a possible VP pick.  It seems like such a logical choice, so this leaves me scratching my head.

Logical and the Democrat party is oil and water.  Logical would have seen the party being narrowed to Richardson & Biden. for Prez.
