Obama’s Foreign Policy Plan

July 7th, 2008 By: Michael van der Galien | Tags:

Although I think that Obama is certainly playing politics by not talking as much about Iraq as he could, perhaps even should, I also think it’s fair to say that he’s right to give a whole lot of attention to Afghanistan, Pakistan and the war on terrorism in general. Iraq is important, yes, but it’s not the only battlefield. Especially the importance of the forgotten war in Afghanistan should not be underestimated.

Additionally, it’s time for people to focus on other parts of the world; the war on terrorism should only be a part of America’s foreign policy. There’s also a whole lot to do about and with Europe, Africa and, especially, Asia. Why aren’t the candidates talking more about China and its rise to power? Why aren’t the candidates explaining to people how they plan on befriending (politically and economically) the world’s third superpower in the making; India?

At this moment, the foreign policy plans of both McCain and Obama are limited. Too limited.

    Ignore it.  Thats his plan.

Iraq is fastly becoming a succuss story.  Why they are right now building a country club repleat with housing and a gated community.

EVEN John MURTHA admits that the surge is working.  Lord have mercy.

Like I have said. In 2, 3 years we will still be in Iraq no matter who is president.  Iraq is in material.  Its a success story.  Bush will be vindicated in history.  What we need now is to Balance our budget and end this insane dependence on foreign oil.

The real enemy in this nation has been congress who is in it for the money and power.  They are the enemy.  I propose The winner of this election nominate the loser to be his VP and mabey TOGETHER THEY CAN>
