McCain to Name VP August 29
The Politico reports that Senator John McCain, nominee for the presidency of the Republican Party, is scheduled to announce his running mate on August 29. That is 10 days from now.
He will make the announcement in Ohio, one of the key battlestates during this year’s upcoming elections and one in which McCain has now overtaken Barack Obama in the polls.
Among the top contenders for McCain’s VP slot are:
1. Independent Senator Joe Lieberman who left the Democratic Party after netroots attacked him and destroyed his future in the Democratic Party because of his support for the war in Iraq.
2. Former Governor of Massachusetts Mitt Romney. Romney brings something to the ticket McCain desperately needs; money, economic knowledge, executive experience, youth and charisma. However, the two men cannot get along.
3. Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty who shares many of Romney’s strenghts.

I think if McCain wants to beat Obama, he’d better pick Romney.
Replaying old news "the two men cannot get along" is inaccurate. Mitt and John put the primaries behind them a long time ago and are a great team. Be accurate with your reporting.
McCain and Romney are a double-whammy winning ticket. The experience and leadership of these two will inject independence once again for America.
M&M!
I really needs to be Romney. No skeletons or surprises with him. We need his knowledge on economics and business as well. McCain will have a sure win with Mitt!
