Fred Thompson on Sarah Palin
Human Events has published a video of former Senator Fred Thompson explaining why he believes John McCain’s choice for running mate, Sarah Palin, is “an absolute masterstroke.”
It is interesting to note that Thompson was one of the people considered to be a reasonable vice presidential candidate only a couple of months ago. However, just as fast as he became part of the public debate, he disappeared. He lost the presidential primaries quite easily, and most people seem to have agreed that a McCain-Thompson ticket would be a bit too old and uninspiring.
