‘Joe the Plumber’ Has Had Enough of the Media

Joe ‘the Plumber’ Wurzelbacher has had enough of the media, he said on Sunday. Journalists have been camping out at his house ever since Fox News first published the video of him asking Barack Obama whether his tax plan would mean that he, Joe, would have to pay more taxes if he would end up buying the company he presently works for and make it successful.

Plumber Joe made the remarks on former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee’s talk show on Fox News entitled “Huckabee.”

“The media’s worried about whether I’ve paid my taxes, they’re worried about any number of silly things that have nothing to do with America,” Wurzelbacher told Huckabee.

He was especially hurt by some of the criticism vented by people he had never met in his life, he said. “I felt about that small,” he said. “I mean I really did.”

“You know, I am a plumber,” Wurzelbacher said, in a clear appeal to people to leave him alone. “Just a plumber.”

Finally he expressed anger with the response of the left to his question; he was assaulted, attacked, discredited, an attempt at character assassination was launced. “You know, when you can’t ask a question of your leaders anymore, that gets scary,” Wurzelbacher said about the aggressive response of the left to his question which caused Obama to give one of his first truly honest and spin-free answers of the campaign.

Many commentators on the right and in the center criticized the media and left-wing bloggers in recent days, among whom myself, for going after Joe Wurzelbacher with an aggression seldom seen before. If these same individuals would have spent half the time investigating Barack Obama’s past, perhaps he would have known a bit more about the man than we do now.

America Get ready…With a sure Democratic President and Congress, what happen to Joe is only the beginning. Polosi cutting electricity and shutting down the Senate when Congress was still in session is another example. Look up the meaning of the word Socialism then decide if you want to vote party lines, or you want to research facts. If you believe words and do not look into facts, you are not an informed voter. At least Joe the Plummer is an informed Voter,
