Appearing on “Saturday Night Live” Saturday evening, Sen. John McCain once again proved he is one of the best actors of the U.S. Senate with a tremendous sense of humor.
During the most important scene of the evening, Sen. McCain and ‘Governor Sarah Palin’ (Tina Fey) addressed the nation together. It was a hilarious sketch, with both McCain and Fey making fun of the Republican and the Democratic ticket.
Cindy McCain too made an appearance, selling McCain “fine gold.”
At the last moment, Palin (Fey) declared she was “going rogue” and showed a t-shirt with “Palin 2012″ on it. “What’s going on over there Sarah,” McCain asked. “O, I’m just talking about taxes,” Palin said.
McCain also declared he is a “true maverick,” “a Republican without money.”
Shortly after, McCain announced his new strategies. Again, McCain stole the show:
