Ben Affleck was on Saturday Night Live last night, and he an the SNL crew pulled off what I think was a great mocking of Keith Olbermann’s sometimes angry bloviating:
It got a little bit ridiculous on the anger toward the end, but still a fair assessment of Olbermann, I think.

I loved the skit. I watch Countdown often and actually only found out about the thing because Keith actually mentioned it on his show. According to him he was actually going to SNL to consult them on how best to parody him. My favorite was the worst person in the world part, the face contortions were great.
Excellent!! Affleck did a great job mimicking the distorted and twisted reporting in the same vile and disgusting style that only Olberman can deliver on a nightly basis. I laughed my *ss off!! Bravo Ben!!
heh, John, I hope this doesn’t cut into your enjoyment of the piece, but Keith himself went over to SNL beforehand to help prep Ben on the role and then he featured a hefty chunk of the piece on his own show, showering glowing praise on SNL for it. So if his feelings are hurt, he hides it very well.

LOL! Well done. He lost his focus a few times but through much of it had the bloviating and facial contortions down just about right.

That has to be the best SNL skit. I would have loved to see Obermann’s when he watched it.
It was right on
