McCain Needs to Win 3 Out of Four Early States
Hot Air summarizes the significance of the states that will report their election results soon as follows: ‘Indiana and Virginia close at 7 p.m., Ohio and North Carolina follow half an hour later. McCain needs three at a bare minimum. Anything less, and you can start drinking. Hard liquor if you got it.’
I think that’s probably correct. McCain cannot afford to lose too many of these states.
Meanwhile, who thought we would be talking about the election as we are now? For weeks, most of us assumed that today would be a landslide for Obama. We would be able to call the election fairly early on.
Not so: we now realize that it could become closer than most Obama supporters hoped.
