MSNBC: Rahm Emanuel Accepts Chief of Staff Offer
Via MSNBC comes the news that Rahm Emanuel has accepted Barack Obama’s offer to become his Chief of Staff.
Emanuel is a highly partisan and ideological Democrat, who has a long record of bullying opponents into submission, and throwing swear words around whenever agitated (which happens rather often).
Nonetheless, one could also argue that he has a strong character, which any president needs in a Chief of Staff, but Obama especially.
Those ‘buts’ aside, I agree with NRO’s Yuval Levin when he writes that Obama’s choice for Chief of Staff may indicate that he will be a highly partisan president, who will bully opponents into support for his plans. Then again, perhaps he will make up for Emanuel by appointing more moderate Democrats and possibly even Republicans to key positions in the cabinet.
Via Hot Air comes the additional news that word on the street has it that yet another liberal Democrat, John Kerry, may become Obama’s Secretary of State.
Is Obama on his way to create a highly partisan and quite liberal administration?

Yes, they can… Brainwash everyone into submission and bully the rest, that is…
