Huh? 2) Possibly planning for revenge? - What? This whole Plame affair was a non-scandal and Libby was prosecuted for an offense that was a result of the investigation. In other words no crime was ever committed. Libby is rightfully in jail, but he didn't protect Cheney. Cheney is probably upset that Libby broke the same law Clinton got away with breaking.
