		<description>Even assuming that the Pentagon report accurately assesses conditions at Gitmo at the present time, US credibility on the subject has been lost so thoroughly that it can no longer be restored by a governmental report of any kind.  Trust in our government has been too badly damaged.

Gitmo stands as the symbol for everything that went wrong in handling detainees, so the only way to restore trust on this subject if to turn the page by removing the symbol.</description>
