Taking the Middle Road on Earth Hour
The liberals told us to turn off all of our lights and electrical equipment and sit in the dark. The conservatives told us to turn on all of our lights and drive around.
I, on the other hand, watched a movie and turned on only the necessary lights in order to watch it and not strain my eyes because it was too dark. After the movie was over, I washed and dried my clothes. I now sit down on my computer with only my desk lamp on (the room light is off), blogging here and getting some other things done that need getting done.
So, I’m saving money on the electric bill by not using every piece of electrical equipment around me and being productive/entertained. Is there more of a win-win than that?
I like to think not.

slogans for or against a candidate without engaging in substantive comment are not welcome.
