Appearing on Jay Leno’s show Tuesday evening, Senator John McCain listed the most talented Republican governors around. He forgot to mention one, however: Governor Sarah Palin. After not naming her he said, with a grin, “I’ve left out somebody’s name and I’m going to hear about it.”
A deliberate snub, or was it an accident? Some Palinites argue it was deliberate: he never treated the Alaska governor with the respect she deserves, they say, and McCain knows how to restore his image as the country’s most popular Republican: by turning on a true conservative.
I am with Hot Air, however. It seems to me that he did not on purpose. He forgot to mention Mitt Romney during his appearance on MSNBC’s “Meet the Press.” He probably “heard about” that, so he made sure he did mention the former Massachusetts governor this time around – not once, but twice; implying to me that he was really concerned if not obsessed with mentioning the fiscal conservative.
When you’re so focused on mentioning a specific name, you often forget to mention a rather obvious one, in this case Governor Palin’s. That’s normal. It’s not a diss, it’s not even close to an insult.

Palin? A conservative? Ahaha, no. She is a hard-right republican, and the Venn circles for “republican” and “conservative” have overlapped very little for a while now. I mean, can someone explain to me why her state leads the nation in poor spending? She is a common kind of republican – pretending to be a non-populist friend of the little guy, while being a populist, power-hungry class of your own.
Not yet 3 months after inauguration day and McCain has already problems remembering the name of his would be vice president.
The information he allowed reporters to view during the election, did that include any information about his mental state?
I find it very surprising that John McCain doesn’t understand without Sarah Palin on his ticket in 2008 no one would have given him a second thought. Boy did he snub her! This just shows what a flip flopper he is. I guess he just wants to get in good with Obama.Oh let me say it better he wants to be in the in with a Pop Star President . Wow I am disappointed in him.
