Cop From Hell Arrests Reporter for Nothing

April 25th, 2009 By: Michael van der Galien | Tags: , , , ,

Like most regular readers of PoliGazette, I almost automatically jump to the defense of policemen when they are accused of being too aggressive and what not. Westerners have lost the respect for the policy they once had, which I consider to be highly problematic.

But I will not defend this cop (watch the video below the fold). He saw a journalist doing his job, threatened him for no reason, and then arrested him even though the journalist said he would leave if he had to. In short, this was one insane chap with a badge.

Watch the video and you will see what I mean.

The good news? The cop was put on desk duty after the footage aired.

I agree about the respect issue, but this cop has major anger management issues.
