Biden Commits Yet Another Gaffe
It continues to be extremely entertaining to watch Vice President Joe Biden, who seems to be senile nowadays, make gaffe after gaffe. Whenever he makes a public appearance, he makes a mistake. And quite often a big one at that. Today, for instance:
For your Joe Biden Gaffe files: Washington. Mandarin Oriental Hotel. LGBT fundraiser. Hauled in about $1 mill. 33% better than last year with Michelle Obama. …
Biden also praised Tim Kaine as the “great governor of New Jersey.”
One problem: Tim Kaine’s not governor of New Jersey.
Jon Corzine (right) is governor of New Jersey (Remember, he didn’t wear his seatbelt in the state patrol car for the big high-speed crash).
Tim Kaine is governor of another state, called Virginia.
He’s also chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
In short, he’s a pretty well known figure. Everybody and his dog knows who Tim Kaine is.
The problem with Biden is not that he makes a mistake every now and then. Human beings make mistakes. It’s that simple. No, the problem is that he makes mistake after mistake, and that he does not seem to learn from them. He makes the same kind of mistakes over and over, resulting in him – the second most powerful man in the country – not being taken serious.
He’s a clown. You cannot possibly take anything he says serious. It’s literally impossible.
Of course, clowns are fun. But they’re less entertaining when they’re as powerful and influential as Biden is. If something – God forbid – would happen to President Barack Obama, Biden would succeed him. That’s not exactly something to look forward to, to put it mildly. Before you know, America will be at war with France, or rejoin Great Britain.
What’d ya say? Time for Biden to retire?

I make fun of him, too, but I’m actually kind of worried for Biden now. Even if you don’t know who the governor is personally (I don’t always know it and I’m a politics geek AND an East Coast resident), you can’t possibly have that bad of a staff that they don’t find the right name.
I say: early on-set of Alzheimer’s or some other form of dementia. Which, if the case, is a bit scary, given his position. We all worried about McCain needing to be replaced, but now the real question is, what if Obama needs to be replaced?
I agree Michael. I was wondering about that myself as well.
