THe reason legal guns are fought against by democrats is because they are usually people who don’t own guns or have ever owned guns. They believe the police force is good enough to handle all of criminal problems. They also believe that it is dangerous to simply have the ability to shoot a gun. They fear that someone will lose their temper or something and start shooting.

A friend of mine, a liberal democrat, was robbed 3-4 times in his home. IF he had a gun the first time, I doubt they would have come back the next time.

Anyway, the mere statistic that most violent crimes are committed with illegal guns, shows a lot. In fact, violent crimes would be reduced if people knew others had more guns.

In fact, in a recent event, a bunch of gang bangers with guns took hostage of teenagers, and were about to rape one of the girls, when one teen had a gun in his backpack and shot them all saving the girl.
