		<description>The operations of NGOs like Freedom House and Coalition for Democracy and Civil Society in these states are very public, and they do receive funding from the US gov&#039;t. I&#039;m not sure why suspicions of US influence would be unfounded. Regardless, it&#039;s still a hard argument to make that the US made millions of Iranians go to the streets and risk their lives.</description>
