Question: do you guys consider guns “manly”? Or are they simply tools to defend yourself against possible intruders and nothing more?
Or are you against guns in general?

Guns are tools.
Anyone who thinks a gunmakes them manly is also a tool, but that’s a different usage of the word.
They are neither manly nor limited to defensive tools.
Firearms, like automobiles or power drills, or even plain old axes and saws are tools. Personally, my preference for self defense is to keep my doors locked at night. However, the shotgun should effectively discourage any intruder who decides to break in. Never have had to find out, for which I am thankful.
I don’t believe you need to own firearms to be ‘manly’ any more than you need to own power saws, wrench sets etc to be ‘manly.’ Women have been and are quite capable users of firearms. I suspect Sarah Palin is much more manly than many of my male colleagues. She hunts and cleans moose; one guy I know got green seeing a little blood when his kid got road rash falling off his tricycle.
Wow!!!!
What a stupid question. Ask this to a gang banger and you will get a different answer. People who are serious about defense (And their firearm safety) don’t scratch there (Stuff) and wave around their firearms like “I have a gun, look at me”.
This question is a joke.
I think you can figure out where I stand on this one.
