Mother Kills Then Eats Baby

July 28th, 2009 By: Michael van der Galien | Tags: , ,

otty sanchez homeFile this under “too terrible news to think about”: a 33-year old mother, Otty Sanchez, killed her baby, after which she ate several body-parts including the baby’s brain.

After her innocent child died this horrible death, she stabbed herself in the torso and slid her own throat. Somehow, she survived, only to be arrested by police.

She told police “the devil made [her] do it.”

Terrible.

The media has stated that the mother was being treated for postpartum depression. I imagine she was taking an SSRI antidepressant.

The Physicians Desk Reference states that SSRIs and all antidepressants can cause mania, psychosis, abnormal thinking, paranoia, hostility, etc. These side-effects can also occur during the withdrawal phase.

Go to http://www.SSRIstories.com where there are over 3,200 cases, with the full media article available, involving bizarre murders, suicides, school shootings [48 of these] and murder-suicides – all of which involve SSRI antidepressants like Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, etc, . The media article usually tells which SSRI antidepressant the perpetrator was taking or had been using.
