Breitbart: I thought Bertha Lewis was Happy We Exposed ACORN’s Corruption

Hannah Giles and James O'KeefeAppearing on Bill O’Reilly’s show at Fox News yesterday, founder of Big Government and Big Hollywood Andrew Breitbart responded to ACORN’s decision to sue him, James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles over the corruption scandal he broke at his blogs and which resulted in both the House and the Senate voting to defund the far-left organization.

His reaction: I thought ACORN leader Bertha Lewis was happy we exposed the organization’s corruption issues.

Breitbart also said they had created a legal defense fund for both James and Hannah. Response so far has been “overwhelming” he said – which is undoubtedly true considering the popularity of both young, conservative journalists.

O’Reilly told Breitbart he had to realize that ACORN and its enablers would try to make this about them (personally) rather than about the actual scandal. Breitbart said he realizes that and that the American people should be outraged by this behavior, especially considering the fact that even the person meant to investigate this matter is part of the effort to discredit the three New Media journalists involved.

Watch it:

Meanwhile, Hannah Giles also responded to ACORN’s attacks on her. Although clearly not happy with the lawsuit, Giles came across as courageous, unimpressed and willing to fight.

Which is a good thing considering just how powerful and rich ACORN really is.

Watch this clip as well:

O’Keefe, Giles and Breitbart have quickly but rightfully become heroes of the right. It takes a lot of courage to take on organizations like ACORN – organizations that have more in common with the mafia than with the civil rights groups of the past.

As has been noted elsewhere, would legal discovery during a lawsuit allow more investigation of ACORN?

ACORN has been exposed as a criminal organization. Hopefully this will result in a thorough investigation of ACORN and its activities. ACORN’s funds should be frozen immediately and accounted for before they can make the money disappear. We know we can count on Holder to do that right?
