OK Guys lets get down to the bottom of this Palin bashing and the Cuddamassiahing.

ON Palin's conflicting statements about a conversation she had with her kids.

I am a parent and I am sure that I have voiced conflicting messages with my kid. This argument against her is not impressive in the least. Compare with Hillary's bogus sniper statements or to Obama's campaign lies with Palin's known statements and Palin comes out pretty clean. The fact that this is the best they have on her really says a great deal about how consistent she is for a politician.

People I know are not poring their dreams into Palin as someone said the left did with Obama. The vast majority of people who voted for Obama and even the vast majority of political science majors I know who supported him could not answer rudimentary questions about his record.

Republicans are enamored with Palin strictly because of her record. Republicans are sick and tired of being let down by their leaders. Palin has walked the walk and that is what makes her a star.

As Dick Morris says, Sarah is a crusader.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJ9umsAtcXs

FACT: At election time, Sarah Palin had five years more experience in elective office then Barack Obama. Palin brought down a massive corruption machine that involved energy companies and the Alaska Republican Party. In fact Alaska's corruption was so bad before she cleaned it up that only Chicago, New Orleans and New Jersey were worse.

FACT: Palin played the crucial role in forcing people in her own party out of office and /or fined. She forced through new ethics laws and totally reformed the bidding, contracts and appropriations process that was wracked with cronyism. Obama was a long term member of the most corrupt political machine in the country and did nothing to clean it up.

FACT: Palin was a very popular city councilman and mayor who oversaw the tremendous growth of Wasilla from a village to the fourth largest city in the state and helped found its police department and all of the modern city services the city enjoys now.

FACT: Palin took on her own incumbent governor and defeated him, stopped many wasteful appropriations, sold the governor's jet, fired the personal chef, expanded state services while cutting the state budget by 10% and sent more money home to the Alaska citizens.

Fact: Even with four to five kids trailing along with her she cut Governor's expenses from the previous governor by 80%.

FACT: Sarah Palin is a recognized authority on energy policy.

I would have to agree with Jeb for once.

Michael Moore, Nancy Pelosi certainly turns the right into drooling idiots. Hillary Clinton not so much. I think the mission of the right all along was to make sure she was never the first woman president. They, I think succeeded. If you notice Hillary has been almost non existant in the press since Obama took office.

Hollywood? Mixed bag. I think its more the entertainment industry in general with hollywood being a part of that mix. See Whoopi Goldberg for example.

The other day Bill O'Reilly was on The View....Whoppi could not control her disdain for the man. There was no professional courtesy considering they really weren't even talking politics but just horsing around.

But

Immediately after his appearance some Gay dude comes out half dressed, talks about how disgusting O'Reilly is and licks his own nipples, grabs his own genitals and proceeds to act as if hes perfroming a lap dance in some titty bar while he dances on the table exhibiting massive doeses of non real gayness to prove a point to the audience.

Whoppi was ecstatic.

Lets see whose funnier...a gay lap dancer actor or Bill O'Reilly. The entire point of the follow up guest was to embarrass Bill O'Reilly. I think this is why the entertainment industry gets the disdain it does from the right.

There is never anything wrong in America about voicing your genuine concerns about the direction of your country. Its how you say what you say....not always WHAT you say. The entertainment industry has a unique way of going way over the top and then receiving 10x's the play as a non entertainment type would receive for the same message.

I like Palin, but the right is doing to her what the left did to Obama - messianizing her, putting all of their dreams onto her. This is stupid. If she could not deal with the wolves in Alaska how the heck is she going to deal with the pack of jackals in DC? I read conservative websites and she's just as (frightenly) popular as Robert Pattinson of Twilight. I'm surprised her fans don't scream like teenage girls when they see her

...on second thought, Thank Allah that they don't scream like those Twilight fans

@Jeb
true Jeb, from the progressive and conservative "bases" alone this may be similar, however, when viewed from the the Lens of the media ( as this is), the scales are a tipped against Palin. It is true that blogs like HuffPo do have the ability to be a lot more "raw" in displaying their views, but it is the same progressive line that is being towed along with MSM "motherships" (NBC, ABC, CNN, etc.), so there, they have an advantage.

You might see conservative blogs raging against Pelosi et-al, as well, but where is the "mothership" for these blogs one station? Fox News? I'll even throw in consdervitive talk radio... Still hardly (pardon the phrase) "level playing field" in my opinion.

Therefore the rage you speak of against progressives, is not nearly at the level of what Palin experinces.

I love these quotes sbout Palin:

"Wow, for somebody who's supposed to be such a political joke, an Arctic ditz and eminently dismissable as a serious anything except maybe a stay-at-home hockey mom, Sarah Palin is sure drawing an awful lot of attention from Democrats and eager critics."

"You know how sometimes a friend tells you how much he/she doesn't really care about.......someone else. Really doesn't! And repeats it a sufficient number of times that you become convinced of precisely the opposite?"

from here:

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2009/11/sarah-palin-going-rogue-democratic-national-committee-.html

"Yeah, but the thing is, as we saw for the past eight years, it demeans us all to demean the office of the Presidency. so I’d like to someone on the left who generates the same “Palin rage” who’s NOT the President"

Exactly, C3

The Obamessiah and the ‘Cudassiah.

Actually even though I tend to take shots at Obama, I am much more likely to take shots at the democratic controlled congress. Since the GOP can do nothing but say no, theres not much thats happening right now that could even remotely be misconstrued as their fault.

Our economy is a wreck!!!!....Its not getting any better. GDP is growing? What a measurement joke. When you got 15 percent unemployment and the economy is growing.......yeah....thats government intervention, the printing of money....not anything positive.

The democrats want to burden America with huge tax increases to pay for health care. They ultimately want to put in place an entitlement program that cannot be repealed...and thus has to be funded for ever and ever. 1/6th of our economy they want under their thumb.

They want to then tax corporations with cap and tax. Reduce and eliminate "Corporate Welfare" and slap punitive regulations on corporations....the net result is going to be the mass exodus of MORE JOBS TO DEVELOPING COUNTRIES....sound familiar AGW crowd??????

Then as if thats not enough the democrats want to pass immigration reform which is designed to do EXACTLY ONE THING...and one thing only. Legalize 12 million more poor, Democratic dependent Registered democrats to further socialize this country and to go in the direction of socialized Europe. They don't give one flying flip for these people. They only want an constant stream of more democrats swarming their borders to keep them in power.

Obama.....Hes hardly anything but the ringleader in a 3 ring circus. Most of the time you never pay attention to him as your watching the performances in the THREE RING CIRCUS.

I present to you CONGRESS'S three ring circus.

CAP AND TAX.
HEALTCARE.
IMMIGRATION REFORM.

ODS?......we all need a healthy dose of CONGRESS DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.'
